We have loved our LG range/oven until a wire was loose when it was installed and now we have been waiting over 8 weeks between LG and the third party company they require us to use for fix. Neither side talks with the other and neither side can give information to me the owner of the machine. Would suggest another company to do business eith at this point. Absolutely ridiculous.

I really like this stove. I enjoy the buttons in front and not the back. Its full of features many which I have probably not tried. Works great on thanksgiving with the bird on the bottom and casseroles on top oven. I need to dig deeper on the self clean function. For reason stovetop has some discoloration but Im thinking thats normal?

Interior Oven Coating Defective

Ive owned this oven for 7 months and the interior oven coating chipped in multiple spots where the oven racks slide in place. The interior blue coating on the oven is defective and it shouldnt break down from normal use. Ive been very careful when sliding the oven racks into place and Ive never seen this issue on any other oven that Ive owned. An LG technician looked at it and was instructed to repaint the spots where the coating had chipped. Obviously the paint would need to be heat treated and I dont want to add chemicals into the environment where Im cooking my food. LG hasnt provided any other solutions and obviously doesnt care that the interior oven coating is defective. We wont be buying another LG appliance after this experience.

Worst oven in history

This oven not only caused a huge fire in my house but it also broke 14 months within purchase. I didnt buy extended warranty. The process of getting help was not easy and the technician charged an incredible amount only to leave the stove as it was- worthless and not working. I will never buy any LG prod.

They arent tight and move the temp up/down very easily. The largest front right burner seems to be hotter in the top left of the largest circle than the rest of the burner. Just a little odd. Ive had this oven for 2 years. The dials on front will turn on with the slightest touch. I had two instances where a package on the stovetop melted and almost caught fire. You cant hear a click when the dials are moved and you cant see the red light warning a burner is on.

Looks great but does not always work

I bought my double oven range 6 months ago worked fine the first few months. In the last couple months the touchscreen will lockup so I cannot use need to flip breaker to reset easier than pulling out and unplugging. And now last weeks fun was the broiler turning off as I was using would need to keep turning back on. Purchased from Lowes and they washed their hands if it because I didnt buy their extended warranty and LG was supposed to have a technician contact me and crickets . Consider this a disposable appliance.

Dumb Design probs performance is fine.

I am wondering if someone who actually cooks designed this oven/stove. Some design flaws If I buy a double oven it is because Im preparing for large group and need to cook different things at once. They should have included more metal grates for the oven. The small stove burners in the back are a bad idea if Ive got a large pot on the front need to simultaneously prepare something using small burners cannot reach over without burning myself just not convenient nor a smart design the small burners should have been placed towards front of cooktop. Also the fan cover toward back of stovetop is not easily removableI dont know if removable at all to clean under. Things get in there and you should be able to remove to clean it under it. Otherwise I like the double oven.

4 glaring issues 1: the two front burning only have one heat - max. Even low boils water. 2: lettering of dials is removed by simple washing. 3: only one oven cleans when cycled for cleaning. 4: oven selection and setting confusing. After 2 technicians and multiple parts replacement I am being still stuck with the same issues. Absolutely no joy in owning this range.

Functions well though I wish the one control did not have a line on it as it is not relevant. Overall I am happy with it as a range it is the App that is severely lacking - it will tell you when preheated on timer done etc but they can not be controlled via the app. VERY frustrating. I should be able to shut off cancel or reset the timer etc.

Love it except for one thing

We have had this range for about one year. I like it very much except for the control knobs. They turn much too easily. We have accidentally turned a burner on many times when reaching above to use the microwave. It is also very easy to accidentally turn the burner temp up/down when standing at the stove to stir a pot. Dont know what fix there could be for this but just be aware.

Worst product I ever bought

Only thing that works right is the stovetop. Digital display started quitting just after warranty ended segment by segment. Top oven? Broiler automatically comes on when oven not broiler is set to 400* or above. Lower oven will not keep steady temp. Literally takes 3 times as long to cook. Knobs on front are too sensitive and turn on it you brush them so lightly you dont even notice which has led to burning items on the stove. LGs service tech put new knobs on and said to read the manual on the rest of the issues with no repair. Will never buy an LG product again.

I had two other homes that I had double ovens and bought this house in Vegas that had a really nice kitchen but was designed with a single slide in oven : I didnt feel it was worth re designing a good kitchen JUST to have dual ovens So this was a viable solution. This was a great concept but you do loose the ability to bake a large item such as a big turkey.

Oven - poorly made

I bought this in September 2020. I kept getting F9 error codes and kept calling. Was told nothing they can do if error code stopped displaying. After a year LG sent a tech and it was stated it was the control board. 2-3 weeks later same problem. Almost coming up on 2 years and still a problem. LG tech came out again and this time I am told it is the top element which LG does not have that part in stock. Customer service was terrible every time I called and then no record of me ever calling. So now an oven that the top oven never worked correctly from day one and I guess never will. Save your money.

Love double oven feature

I have had the LG double oven slide in range for about two weeks now and I love it. Ive had both ovens going simultaneously at different temperatures several times what a convenience. Another feature I love is the proof setting on the larger oven so that I can let cinnamon buns rise at a consistent temperature. Another useful setting is the warm setting that is a little higher than the proof setting. I love the range and having two oven s is a real fan changer. I also love the look and ease of cleaning of the interior the surface is a beautiful bright blue and very easy to keep clean with just a wipe of a wet cloth. The only negative is that the printing on the display is a little hard to read in dim light. But that is a minor inconvenience compared to all the benefits to this great range.

Beautiful inside and out

I have always sworn by LG products and this oven is no exception. The appearance is stunning and the functions are just as good. The stove top boils water in half the time of our old oven. My partner has a great blueberry muffin recipe and in the new oven they came out better then ever. Would recommend to anybody.

Bought this last fall and love the oven. Our first double oven and love the look. UNFORTUNATELY after baking accident we used Easy Off to clean. This RUINED to blue ceramic interior. While there ARE instructions not to use such cleaners in my opinion this should be plastered in bold capitalized words all across the oven the manual and the listing on their product. One of the main features attracting us to this product is now permanently damaged. YES we should have researched this better but since this is NOT replaceable nor repairable. For this reason I feel they should UP their warning against using such cleaners. The cleaner itself has an unreadable warning to not use on self-cleaning ovens.

Pretty but knobs turn too easily

The knobs are supposed to push in before turning as a safety feature. The knobs still turn without having to push in it has almost been a hazard a few times.

Dangerous

I bought this a little over a year ago and wish I wouldve returned it right away. From the very first day installed I realized how easy it is to lean against the control buttons in the front of the stove and turn the fast heat on. I usually catch this but today there was a pizza box on the stove I was putting up groceries Leen to set something down didnt realize that the high heat was put on and caught the box on fire I wish I could return this I want to make everybody know that this is dangerous especially if you have children or animals that might jump up and accidentally push the button

Technician service impossible

My LG range 4815 4/18/2022

I have had this range for 6months and when I cleaned it there was white spot residue all over the inside blue porcelain I cant get off. I have been trying over a month to get a technician appt for service or replacement.

Nice Range.

The rack on in the bottom oven has a roll-out feature. I cant tell you how delighted that mad me. Brilliant. I bought this range on line so I was not really prepared for how low the bottom oven appeared to be. I saw a future of me on my knees fishing pans out of the oven. Then I found the rollout. Hazzah The rest of the range is well thought out too. The controls take a wee bit getting used to but make total sense. I am becoming used to LG design and the logic they apply to their ergonomics. Good stuff.

We like it ok so far

Ordered this product several months ago and just got it delivered and installed. We like it ok so far. Time will tell how the stove top will wear and scratch over time though. Have had lots of issue with customer service from LG and HAHNS they dont listen or believe their customers at all

I bought this a year ago and I am very unhappy with the oven. It does not bake evenly leaving my cakes cooked unevenly. The customer service is horrible.

My husbands first response is how quickly it heats up I like the design of the stove the curves of the handles and especially the design of the knobs. I baked pizza for the first time and it was perfect This is our first LG kitchen appliance and we would definitely consider other LG products for our kitchen.

We bought this the week before Thanksgiving 2021 and we loved it. Jan 2022 it stopped working. Cooktop and oven. Called customer service we were 2 weeks without an oven. Finally repaired the thermostat went out in less than 2 months. Very weird stove is NOT the same after repairs. Will never purchase an LG appliance again ever.
