My LG is not under warranty. I will not buy LG again. I have The LG dryer and a dishwasher that I expect will not last either

I love this machine. Its attractive.. It does a great job washing and sanitizing It gets rid of mites and other pests from sheets. The pedestals store needed supplies.especially when you are cramped for space. The steam helps in the sanitization so ypur wash comes out sparking I also love the 14 different dial options that let me select what ever clean method I want.. The excellent manual tells the user exactly what each option does.

Leaked water and damaged our wall and ceiling. We had a two year warranty but LG does not have the record and took them two weeks to send a technician to check on it. They do not have the parts so we had to wait for the washer to be fixed when the parts are mailed to us. Still not fixed and customer service is slow. Looking for a pedestal with a pan to catch future leaks. Any recommendation?

We were having issues with our LG front loader washer. We had an extended warranty from Lowes and had 2 different people come look at our washer and said it was fine. Issues were spots on clothes load banging during cycles and water residue Lowes partners with LG and had an actual LG technician come diagnose our washer. He was very informative and friendly. He found that the water pressure in our house was excessive for the washer and turned the valves down to reduce the pressure. He was able to do this by sound and experience am sure. This has significantly reduced the banging in the washer FINALLY Only took 4 years. The next thing he did was walk me through a lot of easy maintenance for the washer including tub clean techniques. When I explained the spots on clothes he was very informative on how doing tub clean on a regular basis eliminates the spots. He also was very informative on cleaning the front rubber area and doing regular cleanings on the bottom filter. If this is how LG works then I will be an LG purchaser for life. Your technician not only saved LG from losing a customer he sold me on your service

I like the washer however I have had a very difficult time with the liquid dispenser. The slot that dispneses the detergent is very good and I have had no problems with that. The slots that dispense the bleach and the fabric softener is a different story. They went from working very well to filling up with water at the end of the cycle to just not dispensing at all. I have had LG techinicians out to my house at least six times over the last year to attempt to fix the problem. Finally two weeks ago the technician was able to fix it and it has been woking fine in that time. I am really hoping that it is finally fixed but only time will tell.

Drain pump broke less than 3 years

I bought this washer for its high capacity and expected quality from LG. When I put blankets in it it constantly leaves detergent streaks on the blankets. After less than 3 years the drain pump failed. This price washer should not need repairs after less than 3 years. The reliability in this product is pathetic.

I bought may 2021. When arrive was told unit is defective so did complete delivery sent second unit took them another 3 week at this point I cant be without washer on and off it take multiple cycles to complete each load now at 3 year dont complete cycle at all water inside. Machine stop and gave OE. Made a lot of phone calls to LG they making it so hard to which forced me to gave up on calling them and I will not buy their appliances ever. LG service people give you stress but dont FiX the product they build which dont even last two year without problems. Soon I ll be making TikTok videos to tell you whole story over each of product I bought when and why and how so you make better decisions when paying for it.

Good and Bad

Initially thought this was a solid unit that was going to last us a long time. Within the last few months the door gasket has developed a very bad case of mold. Ive tried keeping the door open after cycles tried wiping the unit down to dry it tred vinegar to make it go away and nothing works. Ive read elsewhere that front loaders can have this problem but I am confused why the unit would run for a while weve had it several years and then have this problem. To get a repair guy to come out is in the $200-400 range. Ive looked at the parts manuals and the part is around $100. Kinda dont want to spend that much for a part I could probably replace myself. Its not a bad washer overall but I am not sure I would buy a frontloader again

I called in for technical help. My washer was displaying an OE ERROR. Customer support ran through diagnostics and told me it was working properly. After 2 call backs and on the phone at least an hour each time I finally received a number for a technician. Come to find out the pump was not working anymore. It was replaced and now is working properly.

Ive had this machine for going on 3 years. When its working it is great. The problem is that it appears to be fragile. We have had several pumps replaced and repairs take forever months to get completed. If it is advertised as heavy duty it should not breakdown on a regular basis.

3 different repair companies have come out to repair the leaking washer. The door has been changed the seal around the door has been changed and other parts. The washer is still leaking. Ive had my washing machine for a while now and it works well. I had to customer service and they helped with en issue I had and now it is working very well.

Mold and Mildew and doesnt last long

Purchased in 2019 and under extended warranty. Company has not honored extended warranty. Useless machine after less than 5 years. Dont get it.

Good but developed a leak 11 months in.

We like our washer. But it developed a leak. I had to call lg repair twice and each time go through an hour of checking things which I had done before I called. The first time they put the work order under our dishwasher and I had to start the process over. The issue was internally the exit hose started rubbing on a moving bc part. The tech said it may have shifted during transport. I wonder how many will have the same issue. The movement wore a hole in the hose.

Please do not buy this one quality is very poor. I bought on AUG 2022 and water leaking from bottom of the washing machine and my brand new home dry walls all are damaged because of this. Less quality washing machine.
